Building a better future ~ My Christmas wish ~ Cambodia
Imagine growing up in Cambodia. You have very little opportunity for a quality education like we were privileged to have. You are a child of a poor family reliant on sustenance farming in an erratic climate. Similarly to others around you, you have a burning desire to improve yourself, your family and to have an opportunity that your parents were not afforded.
This Christmas I will be traveling to a rural village in Cambodia to assist with an ongoing project to build a school and community centre that is delivering free education and job skill development to the village of
Phum Ou. I will be utilising my skills to assisting with projects such as finishing the school building, construction of a bathroom block and desks for the students to use in the classroom.

I will be utilising my skills to assisting with projects such as finishing the school building, construction of a bathroom block and desks for the students to use in the classroom.I need your help to raise some funds for the purchasing of materials such as concrete, bricks, paint, wood for desks and any required tools. Every cent donated will go directly to this.
My time and efforts and personal funds this Christmas will be going towards giving something back to those less fortunate than myself and definitely something quite different to the standard Christmas in Ireland or Australia. As some of you know I have a true passion for giving back in this way and have been to South Africa three times to build homes in the Townships outside of Cape Town. I believe that this is a very valuable way for me to spend my time this xmas and how that you are able to support me make a difference in the world.
