EDventure is comprised of a young and vibrant group of individuals, committed to creating positive change in the world, and instilling educational leadership and personal development skills within the people we connect with.

 

On your tailored volunteer placement, you will challenge and further your understanding, not only about yourself, but also the phenomenal value of assisting communities in need. The best part about the program is that your own journey will be shared with like-minded travelers from across the globe, all set to have an amazing experience.

What Happens Next:

~ Flights and Handbooks ~

 

Once you have submitted your signed Participant Agreement to us along with your security deposit, you will receive an email from EDventure confirming your Program placement is secure. You’ll then be ready to research your flight options with STA Travel. STA Travel is an international travel organization who has partnered with EDventure to offer exclusive travel booking support to our participants.

To take advantage of STA Travel’s support, please enter your flight requests into STA Travel’s online portal, which has been set up exclusively for EDventure participants.

 

The benefits that STA Travel will offer you include:

 

  • Online portal handy for individuals to contact STA agents with their flight needs and get personal help booking flights.
  • Have the option of signing up for the Airfare Deposit program, meaning you pay a deposit towards flight costs that lock your flight in place and can be paid off later. (provided for Exclusive flights).
  • Personal booking agents to provide you with personal attention. You can even maintain personal contact with the same agent you’ve been working with, who will understand your specific travel needs.
  • Be provided with a dedicated 800 number exclusively for EDventure participants.
  • 24/7 assistance to our participants with their travel.
  • Be offered exclusive rates on flights not published on other sites.
  • Receive 24/7 travel assistance leading up to and during your program.

 

 

STA Travel also offers Travel Insurance and discounts on other travel needs, so feel free to get in touch with our agents with any questions you may have about their offers, and to get support for your EDventure program travel.

 

Finally, you will also be able to use the EDventure Participant Handbook, which includes more detailed information about the EDventure Program in which you will be participating, information about the local communities, as well as your program itinerary.

We are also happy to provide you with the Fundraising Toolkit.  Here you will find plenty of ideas and strategies to help you raise any funds you may need to meet the program fees.
