He was very positive in his approach towards serving and helping the less fortunate
andinformed us that he will definitely go back for more exposure and this learning
opportunity to gain relevant knowledge and skills.
We noticed that he was excited about this kind of experience gained and is an eye
opener for him to go such places where comfort and convenience is no longer a way of
life and he learned to be more independent.
Self motivation, experience and simplicity as a way of life that he can follow. Making
friends and workers who taught him to see life differently.
I would strongly advised parents to send their children for this type of programme so
that they can be out of the comfort zone and treasure what one have.
Yes, it helps as my son is willing to come back and share with us that he has gained
valuable insights into the programme himself and this helps him to develop strong
values and leadership qualities that can be useful in the working world.
He can see life in a different perspective and to explore a more meaningful and
important aspects of life which is not just material comforts. There are valuable lessons
that he had been exposed to for an enriching experience.
Sincerely,
Laura Tan
